Riversmeet is a beautiful reverse living holiday cottage situated in the popular seaside village of Instow in North Devon. The three bedroom, pet friendly holiday home comfortably sleeps up to six and boasts some of the most stunning sea views with the beach just across the road.
With the living area located on the first floor of the cottage, guests can take full advantage of the views over Instow Beach towards Appledore on the other side of the estuary. Downstairs at the tastefully decorated cottage are three good sized bedrooms, two doubles, one of which has an en-suite shower room and a twin. To the front of the cottage is a fully enclosed patio.
At Riversmeet the entire first floor is dedicated to the open plan living area. This reverse level living allows guests to relax on one of the sofas whilst taking full advantage of the stunning sea views. The impressive triple aspect open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect setting for watching the world go by or admiring the beautiful sunsets.
In the lounge area there are comfortable chesterfield sofas and a large Smart TV for keeping up to date with the outside world. The dining area has a table, which comfortably seats up to six. Finally there is the well-equipped kitchen, which is fitted with everything you will need to enjoy a self-catering holiday in North Devon, including an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a freestanding fridge/freezer and an extra integrated fridge/freezer. If needed the washing machine is housed in the utility cupboard on the ground floor.
The first bedroom is a large double with stunning views over Instow Beach and the Torridge Estuary. The bedroom has a king size bed and benefits from a beautiful bay window.
The two front-facing bedrooms on the ground floor share the family bathroom. This large bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower overhead, a wash basin and a WC.
The second bedroom at Riversmeet is a good sized twin with two full size single beds. As a front facing bedroom with a large bay window it again enjoys wonderful views over the beach and estuary.
The final bedroom at Riversmeet is at the rear of the cottage. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and features a double bed. This bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room.
The rear bedroom benefits from its own ensuite bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, a wash basin and a WC.
The bathroom contains a door to the rear of the cottage leading to a small private courtyard where you will find a washing line for drying clothes and steps that lead to a gateway, which provides pedestrian access to the rear of the property.
To the front of Riversmeet Cottage there is an enclosed patio. Here you will find a picnic bench ideal for alfresco dinners beside the sea. A gate leads directly from the patio to the lane and Instow Beach.
Please note there is no designated off road car parking with Riversmeet. A parking permit for the nearby beach carpark is included with your rental.
